Dream Big

"She’s the kind of girl a guy meets when he’s too young, and he fucks up because there’s too much living to do. But later he realizes she’s perfect."

"You’ll know it’s over by the tone of her voice. There will be no excitement and she will always end the sentence with your name.

When she looks at you, you’ll see how her eyes look past you. As if you’re a stranger at a bus stop. No acknowledgement of your memories together.

When she goes out, she won’t ask you to come with anymore. And if you invite yourself she’ll say it’s fine but with a tone of annoyance.

If you decide to stay and let her go alone, she won’t text back right away. Matter of fact, she might just not text back at all until she’s drunk, on her way home and wants to have sex.

If she tells you she needs to speak to you after distant actions like this. Be sure to have a bottle of vodka ready. Be ready for the heartache to set in. For the nights where you don’t know whether to cry or break stuff. For the numb body and blank thoughts. And definitely be ready to see her with somebody else a week later."

Chapter One
I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in.
I am lost …. I am helpless.
It isn’t my fault
It takes forever to find a way out.

Chapter Two
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don’t see it.
I fall in again.
I can’t believe I am in this same place.
But, it isn’t my fault
It still takes a long time to get out.

Chapter Three
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it there.
I still fall in … it’s a habit … but,
my eyes are open.
I know where I am.
It is my fault.
I get out immediately.

Chapter Four
I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

Chapter Five
I walk down another street.

There’s nothing wrong with sex, people.

- Having sex every day.
- Saving sex for your wedding night.
- Never having sex.
- Having sex with different people.
- Having sex with one person.
- Having sex with a person of your same gender.
- Loving sex.
- Hating sex.
- Being loud.
- Being quiet.

The only thing wrong with sex?

When it’s not consensual.

Because that’s not sex. That’s rape.

Reblogging again because this post is so important.
